The third day of the 21st Spring Festival taking place under the main sponsorship of North Cyprus Turkcell hosted colorful activities.
Famous Turkish pop-singer Sıla gave a concert at EMU Stadium on 23 May 2015. The concert attracted thousands of fans of Sıla who had a night full of entertainment. At the end of the concert, Famagusta Mayor and Board of Trustees’ President İsmail Arter and EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam presented a plaque of appreciation to Sıla.
The third day of the festival also hosted pantomime artist İlker Kılıçer’s show entitled “Silent Scream”. Through the show, Kılıçer tried to attract the viewers’ attention towards social problems such as Chernobyl, silicosis disorder, and murdered children. At the end of the show, Kılıçer answered students’ questions on the art of pantomime.
The stands set up within the framework of the 21st Spring Festival brought color to the event by enhancing cultural exchange among students from 120 countries as well as Famagusta community.
