Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees refers to the foundation possessing corporate personality in accordance with the Statute Establishing the North Cyprus Education Foundation and Eastern Mediterranean University, but not of the same type as defined by Article 131 of the Constitution.
The Board of Trustees, which is composed of 9 members, is the highest decision making organ of the Foundation and University as well as the units forming the University.
The chairman and members of the Board of Trustees are appointed by the President of the T.R.N.C. upon the recommendation of the Council of Ministers for a period of 6 years.
The establishment, aim, formation, method of appointment, duties and powers of the North Cyprus Education Foundation Board of Trustees are specified in the Statute Establishing the North Cyprus Education Foundation and Eastern Mediterranean University.
