Elementary Education Department offers two distinct programs, namely Elementary School Teacher Education and Pre-School Teacher Education.
Having been providing education since the 2007-2008 Academic Year Fall Semester, Elementary Education Department aims to bring up qualified, productive and modern professionals who act according to professional ethics and possess in-depth information about child development and education as well as field and teaching practice. Our department also works in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and various state and public institutions in providing solutions to emerging social and educational problems within the community.
Our graduates may work as teachers in state and public schools operating under the Ministry of Education or may choose to pursue their postgraduate studies.

Our courses are offered by prominent academic staff members who give students opportunities for academic tutorials outside class hours as well. The University has a modern library which offers field-related books, encyclopedias, dictionaries and periodicals for students. The Elementary School Department also offers internship and field practice opportunities for students at various institutions of education. Additionally, students are provided with the opportunity of applying theoretical information they gained in their courses into practice.
