EMU Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences
EMU Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, (EMU JPharmSci) is prepared by The Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Faculty of Pharmacy and released its first volume on the 40th anniversary of the university’s foundation. The language of the Journal which has been dubbed as the Faculty of Pharmacy’s gift to EMU is English and it will feature scientific publications relating to Pharmaceutical Sciences. The peer reviewed open access journal will be published three times a year. Pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, toxicology, biochemistry, pharmacognosis, pharmaceutical botany, microbiology, history of pharmacy, phytotherapy, ethnobotany and sports pharmacy are the main topics of the journal. Research will be published as original articles, short articles and review papers.
Journal of Urban Research and Development (JURD)
The Journal of Urban Research and Development (JURD) aims to provide a discussion platform for original research on urban and planning issues, covering a wide range of disciplines contributing to issues and challenges in urban development. JURD intends to be an easily accessible resource for researchers and practitioners in the fields of urban and regional planning, urban design, landscape architecture, human geography, urban sociology, urban economics, urban infrastructure, etc. It is a unique platform for dialogue and exchange of ideas.
Journal of Cyprus Studies
The Journal of Cyprus Studies is a publication of EMU-CCS (Centre for Cyprus Studies) which was launched in 1995. It is a multi-disciplinary, refereed and bilingual journal (both in English and Turkish) published biannually. The Journal of Cyprus Studies is dedicated to the scholarly study of all aspects of Cyprus issues at a global level. It plays an active role in the development of an authoritative archive and bibliography of sources and the provision of a scholarly, academic forum for the analysis, exchange, and critique of ideas on social, cultural, historical, environmental, political and legal matters relevant to the past, present or future of Cyprus.
Journal for Women's Studies
Kadın/Woman 2000 -Journal for Women's Studies is a publication of Eastern Mediterranean University - Centre for Women's Studies. It is published biannually on June and December and is a multi-disciplinary, double peer and blindly reviewed, bilingual journal (both Turkish and English) dedicated to the scholarly study of all aspects of women and gender studies. The articles published are primarily on topics concerning women's rights, the socio-cultural aspects and position of women in society as well as particular legal issues. Articles are accepted from all disciplines such as literature, sociology, psychology, anthropology, law, political science, economics, medicine, cultural history as well as book reviews on recent publications and news and reports on important scientific events.
Journal of Faculty of Architecture
EMU Journal of Faculty of Architecture is a biannual refereed publication of Eastern Mediterranean University, Faculty of Architecture. It is published every April and October and publishes range of articles to facilitate development of the scientific body of knowledge on the multi-disciplinary aspects of the ‘living environments’.
