Organised under the sponsorship and coordination of Eastern Mediterranean University Employees’ Cooperative in collaboration with EMU Sports Affairs Directorate, a futsal tournament taking place with the involvement of university staff commenced on 9 November 2015.
Organised with the purpose of increasing the social interaction between university employees, the tournament has been welcomed by EMU staff with excitement. EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam attended the first match of the tournament which took place at EMU Lala Mustafa Paşa Sports Center.
The tournament will host matches between 8 teams. The winning teams will receive their awards from EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam following the half finals and finals to be held between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on 13 November 2015.
Among teams participating in the tournament are EMU Rector’s Office, Computer Center Directorate, Sports Affairs Directorate, Environmental Affairs Directorate, Technical Affairs Directorate, Purchasing and Inventory Control Directorate, and Security Affairs Directorate.
