Eastern Mediterranean University Foreign Languages and English Preparatory School Director Assist. Prof. Dr. Nilgün Hancıoğlu Eldridge, Photography Club Chair and Educational Resources Coordinator Sen. Inst. Eren Küfi, Photography Club representatives Maya Mammetgylyjova, Burak Şentürk, Sami Omar and Community Involvement Projects Coordinator Sen. Inst. Mutlu Soykurt paid a meaningful visit to Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital Oncology Department. Within the framework of the visit, around 40 photographs taken by the FL EPS Photography Club members, fans and scales were donated to the aforementioned department.
Sen. Inst. Eren Küfi expressed the school’s happiness in contributing to a meaningful project and added that they feel lucky in having the chance to contribute to the cause. EMU Foreign Languages and English Preparatory School Director Assist. Prof. Dr. Nilgün Hancıoğlu Eldridge put forth that the project which should set a sample for others was initiated for improving the conditions of the hospital. While receiving the donation from FL EPS representatives, hospital administrative officer Osman Çelebi and Oncology Department doctors Sabiha Gökçen Kurşunoğlu and Özlem Gürkut expressed their appreciation for the contributions. Community Involvement Projects Coordinator Sen. Inst. Mutlu Soykurt stated that through similar activities, they endeavor to fulfill their civic duties, both institutionally and as an individual citizen. Sen. Inst. Soykurt also added that the project team will pursue similar activities in the near future.
