Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Community Involvement Center adds a new social responsibility project under its roof. Genesis IMC Agency, a division of EMU Faculty of Communication, Department of Public Relations and Advertising, counselled by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anıl Kemal Kaya and coordinated by Res. Assist. Mürüde Özen, has implemented a social responsibility project in order to provide support to the Help Those with Cancer Association.
The project, with the motto “Raising Awareness and Giving Support”, collected two parcels of shoes and eight parcels of clothing at the stands set up within the EMU campus.
The shoes and clothes collected over the campaign, supported by many caring people from the EMU, were delivered to Yıldız Yaman, in charge of the Famagusta branch of Help Those with Cancer Association. Afterwards, Raziye Kocaismail, President of the Association, thanked the EMU family and students for supporting the project and underlined the importance for carrying out similar meaningful projects to raise awareness.
