Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Engineering Faculty, Department of Computer Engineering students entered the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey’s (TÜBİTAK) “2242-University Students Research Projects Competition” with two projects. Both projects made it to the regional final which took place in Kayseri.
The project titled “Online Dormitory Booking System” was prepared under the counseling and management of EMU Department of Computer Engineering academic staff member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Duygu Çelik Ertuğrul. The group titled “GetYourDorm” comprising of Yağmur Tatlı, Yaser Khaled Al-Najjer and Mohammed Abdulwahab Al-Hakeem prepared the project that finished in second place after a jury evaluation. This important achievement took place at the Kayseri Erciyes University where the regional final of the competition took place between the 24th and 27th of June 2019.
