EMU Business and Economics Faculty’s FIBAA Accreditation Renewed

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Business and Economics Faculty was granted unconditional accreditation effective until 2026 by successfully completing the accreditation process operated by one of the most distinguished accreditation institutions all around the world, The Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA).

By stating that EMU Business and Economics Faculty was the first faculty to be granted the FIBAA accreditation, EMU Business and Economics Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Selcan Timur emphasized the pioneering role of EMU in this regard.

Expressing that the FIBAA accreditation they received for the first time in 2014 is extremely important in terms of showing the quality of the programs within the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Timur underlined that the quality education provided in 17 undergraduate, 25 graduate (with / without thesis) and 4 doctoral programs within the Faculty is at world standards.

Underlining the importance of working with all stakeholder groups, Prof. Dr. Timur stated that the education provided by the faculty members is constantly supported, and that the education curriculum has been developed not only with the feedback from the students and graduates, but also thanks to the close cooperation with the business world. Prof. Dr. Timur expressed her gratitude to all faculty members, administrative staff, students, graduates and the business world who trust our graduates and contributed to the international accreditation process.
