Best Conference Paper Award Goes To EMU Tourism Faculty Academic Staff Member and Students

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Tourism Faculty Academic staff member Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Araslı was awarded the “Best Conference Paper Award” at the “National Tourism Congress” in Turkey along with doctorate student Hasan Evrim Arıcı and undergraduate student Furkan Araslı.

The congress that has been taking place since 1990 took place at the Tourism Faculty of the Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University. Prof. Dr. Araslı, Arıcı and Araslı’s conference paper titled “The Role of Processual Justice on Nepotism’s Effect on Job Satisfaction: A Research on the Hotel Management Sector in the TRNC” came first amongst the 160 conference papers sent from universities around Turkey.

As part of the congress primary tourism shareholders, sector professionals, leading non-governmental organizations and tourism academicians came together, presenting work on this year’s theme “Academic Sector Meeting”.
