6th Promotion Days Finished in EMU

Organised by Eastern Mediterranean University in collaboration with the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Ministry of National Education, 6th Promotion Days commenced at EMU Lala Mustafa Paşa Sports Center on 26 April 2016.

On the first day of the said organisation, the university hosted high schools from Nicosia and Kyrenia regions, namely Anafartalar High School, Bülent Ecevit Anatolian High School, Nicosia Turkish High School, Haspolat Vocational High School and Anatolia Fine Arts High School.

On the second day of the said organisation, the university hosted high schools from Famagusta and Iskele Regions, namely Namık Kemal High School, Famagusta Vocational High School, Famagusta High School of Trade, Dr. Fazıl Küçük Industrial Vocational High School, Cumhuriyet High School, Erenköy High School, Polatpaşa High School and İskele High School of Trade. 

Within the framework of the 6th EMU Promotion Days which will take place between 9:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on the said days, participating students will be taking part in various interesting organisations along with academic activities. During the promotion days, students will have the opportunity to discover the student profile and campus life of Eastern Mediterranean University, an institution which offers study opportunities to 20,000 students from 106 countries. Students will also be presented information on academic units, career choices and plans.

In a press release on the first day of the 6th Promotion Days, Vice Rector for International Relations and Promotion Prof. Dr. Hasan Amca stated that Eastern Mediterranean University boasts around 20,000 students from 106 different countries of the world. Putting forth that through EMU’s Promotion Days students have a better chance to explore EMU, Prof. Dr. Amca added that the important issue is to give successful students, not everyone, the opportunity to pursue their studies at EMU as students as such will bring success in every aspect.

This is not my first time in EMU as I visited it before. EMU is such a beautiful university and it has unique faculty who are all experts in their fields. This is my second time in EMU. I already heard about Eastern Mediterranean University’s high quality study opportunities. I haven’t made up my mind about what to study yet but I received detailed information about various departments here during the 6th Promotion Days. EMU is definitely among my choices.

I believe EMU is the best university among other institutions of higher education in the TRNC. I would like to study at Music Teaching Program and EMU is among my choices as it has a high quality faculty profile. 6th Promotion Days are really useful for us as we had a chance to get to know the university in detail.

Ceren Özbilen – Haspolat Vocational High School Final Year Student:

This is my first time in EMU. The university has a beautiful and large campus. I am thinking of studying at Medical Documentation program. EMU is among my choices. Having participated in the 6th Promotion Days, I now have better information about the university.

I had a chance to visit EMU before. It is a very nice university. I would like to pursue my undergraduate studies in the field of health and EMU is among my choices. EMU has a very beautiful campus. I am planning to study at Visual Communication Department in EMU. I believe EMU’s academic excellence is quite high. It also offers an international environment for students. 6th Promotion Days helped us to discover the university in detail.

I believe EMU is a high quality institution with a beautiful campus. It provides study opportunities in the medium of English and its diploma is recognised worldwide.
