Eastern Mediterranean University Community Involvement Center has introduced another social responsibility project. As part of the course entitled “Social Responsibility for Marketing Communication”, students Sevil Turgay, Hüseyin Dadaşov, Kübra Acar and Batuhan Bilgehan carried out a social responsibility project under the supervision of EMU Communication Faculty, Public Relations and Advertising Department academic staff member Dr. Umut Ayman.
On 4 December 2015, students put up pink baloons, and photos of women victims who were subjects of male violence at the yard of Communication Faculty Media Cafe to raise awareness on violence towards females. The students also expressed their wish for the end of murders of women and left their hand prints on frames hung up on faculty walls.
