Mayor of İskele Hasan Sadıkoğlu paid a visit of courtest to EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam. Topics of discussion during the visit which took place on Wednesday, 5 August 2015 were tourism, education and collaborations.
During the visit İskele Mayor Sadıkoğlu provided information about tourism related activities within the region as well as its current situation and prospective projects. Sadıkoğlu also expressed his pleasure in working in collaboration with Eastern Mediterranean University in the ‘Sea Turtle Conservation” and ‘Cleaning of İskele Shores’ projects. Sadıkoğlu also highlighted their joint involvement with EMU in sustainable fishing and artificial reef projects.
Thanking Sadıkoğlu for the visit, EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Osam expressed the university’s readiness in every type of collaboration with Iskele Municipality.
