Hürriyet Newspaper columnist Ramazan Başan visited Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Vice Rector for Social and Cultural Affairs Prof. Dr. Deniz İşçioğlu in her office. During the said visit, which took place on 5 May, 2023 at 14:00, EMU Tourism Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç, Vice Dean Prof. Dr. Ali Öztüren, EMU Continuing Education Center (EMU CEC) President Prof. Dr. Metin Ersoy and EMU-CEC Coordinator Assist. Prof. Dr. Aybike Yektaoğlu were also present.
During the visit, Prof. Dr. İşçioğlu shared detailed information about EMU. At the end of the visit, where detailed information about EMU Tourism Faculty, Gastronomy and Culinary Arts undergraduate program and EMU – CEC was shared, Başan was presented with a gift unique to EMU.
