Organized annually by the Eastern Mediterranean University, Alumni Communication and Career Research Directorate (EMU-MIKA), the 10th International Career Days continued with an event by the EMU Health Sciences Faculty, Nursing Department. The online event hosted Turkish Nurses Association İzmir Branch Director Dr. Ebru Melek Benligül.
Total of 410 participants, including the EMU Health Sciences Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Mehtap Malkoç, vice Dean and Nursing Department academic staff member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gülten Sucu Dağ, Dursing Department Head Prof. Dr. Sevinç Taştan, all academic staff of the Nursing Department, students and visitors attended the event. During the event, Dr. Benligül delivered a speech titled “Professionalization Process of Nursing Profession and Career Opportunities”. Touching on the developments in the nursing profession from past to present, as well as career opportunities for today's nurses, Dr. Benligül gave examples of her career development process and goals. The online event which received great interest from the audience ended with a question-answer session where Dr. Benligül answered the questions asked by the students.
