Operating under Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Sports Affairs Directorate, EMU Tennis Team successfully completed Tennis 1st League Group A matches which were organised by the Republic of Turkey University Sports Federation between 9 and 12 March 2019. During the aforesaid matches, EMU Tennis Team played against Yıldız Technical University, Kocaeli University and İstanbul Technical University and having won all the matches, completed Group A as the Champion with a score of 3-0.
Following the aforesaid successful achievements, EMU Tennis Team defeated the champion of the other group Yaşar University in singles with Şevki Öksüzoğluları and Rasim Ülker and in doubles with İsmet Baykur and Mustafa Zorba. With a score of 3-0, EMU has entered the Super League as the champion. Upon the completion of the matches, EMU Tennis Team returned back to island with their trainer Aydın Kayol and Team Leader Cüneyt Doğan.
