Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) School of Computing and Technology (SCT) hosted final year students of Dr. Fazıl Küçük Industrial Vocational High School within the scope of the workshops organized towards vocational high school. EMU SCT Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nazife Dimililer and EMU SCT academic staff members welcomed the students. Dr. Fazıl Küçük Industrial Vocational High School students were provided information about EMU SCT during a session that took place at CT 001 amphitheater. Speaking at the event, EMU SCT Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nazife Dimililer stated that the SCT provides a broad spectrum of education and said that EMU SCT graduates have the opportunity to find employment easily in sectors which seek the biggest number of qualified personnel. Talking to the students about the opportunities that EMU SCT will offer them, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dimililer gave examples of successful EMU SCT graduates.
“EMU SCT is the Right Choice”
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dimililer said that EMU SCT is the right choice if they plan to guide their careers in the fields of Construction Technology, Mapping and Cadastral Survey, Electrical-Electronics Technology, Biomedical Equipment Technology, Accounting and Taxation Applications, Medical Documentation and Office Management, Computer Programming, Information Systems and Technologies. Stating that they are always in cooperation with the representatives of the sector, organizing career day events and workshops which bring together the sector representatives and EMU SCT students as well as encouraging the students to develop themselves in terms of social aspects, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dimilier answered the questions of students. Then, EMU SCT academic staff members informed Dr. Fazıl Küçük Industrial Vocation High School students on EMU SCT’s education programs and technological opportunities. The said workshops ended with EMU SCT building and laboratory tour.
