Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Faculty of Communication, witnessed the presentation of graduation projects by New Media and Journalism Department (NMJD) students. The students presented their projects consisting of 5 online news websites and 1 print newspaper.
The jury panel included Prof. Dr. Metin Ersoy, the Head of NMJD, as well as Prof. Dr. Hanife Aliefendioğlu, Prof. Dr. Fatoş Adiloğlu, and Senior Instructor Nil Yüce, who served as the Coordinator for Graduation Projects. The panel also featured Damla Dabis Özel from Kanal Sim and Vasvi Çiftçioğlu from Cyprus Broadcasting Cooperation.
The students impressed the jury with their use of multimedia features in their online projects, showcasing infographics, video news interviews, and podcast content. The jury members provided feedback and recommendations to the students, sharing their knowledge and experiences for their future professional endeavors.
