Operating under the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) International Students Activity and Student Societies Unit, Libyan Students Society organized a trip to the Taşkent Picnic Area. Visiting the students gathered in front of the EMU Social and Cultural Activities Directorate before the event, EMU Vice Rector for Social and Cultural Affairs Prof. Dr. Deniz İşçioğlu wished all students a pleasant time.
The event garnered a large turnout. At the picnic, students cooked and shared the dishes of their own cultures, performed their cultural dances and sang various songs. Having had a pleasant experience, students underlined that they will continue to organize such social events in the near future.
