EMU Intellectual Property Rights Research and Application Center (FIMAUM) is Estanblished

With the initiative of Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Law Faculty during the University Executive Board meeting held on 17 November 2021, it was unanimously decided to establish the EMU Intellectual Property Rights Research and Application Center (FIMAUM). EMU FIMAUM implements and disseminates intellectual property rights that are closely related to the whole society; it aims to contribute to the creation and development of a culture of intellectual property rights and the preparation of a legal infrastructure for the industry by raising awareness of the relevant parties on what these rights are.

The Executive Board Members are determined

Under the chairmanship of Law Faculty academic staff member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arzu Alibaba, Law Faculty academic staff member Assist. Prof. Dr. Emine Koçamo Rodoslu and Law Faculty vice Dean Assist. Prof. Dr. Hasan Bilgeç are appointed as deputy chairs of the EMU FIMAUM. Apart from the chair and the deputy chairs of the Executive Board, the members of FIMAUM are; Law Faculty academic staff member Prof. Dr. Şükran Ertürk, Communication Faculty, Cinema and Television Department Head Prof. Dr. Bahire E. Özad, Faculty of Architecture academic staff member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Halil Zafer Alibaba and Engineering Faculty vice Dean Assist. Prof. Dr. Davut Solyalı.
