EMU Gives Laptops to Students Who Achieved to be Among the First 5 Thousand

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) continues to give away laptops to students who chose EMU to study and achieved to be listed among the first 5 thousand students in the university admission exam (all categories except foreign language category) which is annually held by Republic of Turkey Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). In this context, Buğrahan Bülbül who chose EMU Education Faculty, Special Education Department, Special Education Teaching Undergraduate Program, Marlen Serverov from EMU Tourism Faculty, Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Program and, Fatih Özkan from EMU Arts and Sciences Faculty, Turkish Language and Literature Department, Turkish Language and Literature Undergraduate Program were presented laptops by the EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Aykut Hocanın.

“EMU provides Quality Education to Prospering Students”

Making a statement during the event, EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Aykut Hocanın expressed that students who chose EMU in the centralized exam and who were listed among the top 5 thousand students are successfully continuing their studies. Expressing that the university wanted to congratulate students for their success during the first semester of the 2021-2022 Academic Year which has been administered face-to-face, and present them with gifts for their outstanding achievements in the central exam, Prof. Dr. Hocanın said; “I congratulate our students. EMU, as a state university, selects prospering students and provides quality education to prospering students. Our university will continue to provide all kinds of support in the education of its students, as well as in their graduate education or professional development after graduation.”

Expressing that his extreme happiness on choosing EMU, Marlen Serverov said; “I would like to thank you for all the efforts you have put for us”. In addition, Buğrahan Bülbül said; “I thank EMU for offering such opportunities to us”.

EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Hocanın presented the laptops to the students at the end of the meeting.
