EMU Foreign Languages and English Preparatory School Helds 7th Workshop Festival

The seventh of the annual Workshop Festival organized by the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Foreign Languages and English Preparatory School (FLEPS) was held at Foreign Languages and English Preparatory School B Building. 

The festival commenced with the opening speeches delivered by FLEPS Workshop Festival Coordinator P. Nurcan Garip and Assistant Director İpek Meneviş and continued with all-day long presentations which simultaneously took place at different meeting halls. Steve O’Farrell and Pamela Johnson, who attended the event with the sponsorship of Pearson, respectively delivered presentations titled “Virtual Classroom to the Metaverse. What is this Sorcery?” and “Digital Literacy for a Transformed World” during the event.

Academic staff members and students attended presentations on different topics such as; Behavioral Interview Technique, Awareness of LGBTI+ and Terminology, Preventing Discrimination against Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Diversity, Exploring Ways to Integrate Technology into Writing and Listening Lessons, Cognitive and Affective Struggles to Train an Instructor, Sustainable Development and Education, Creative Academia: Re-writing Academic Findings as Poems.
