Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture held a seminar themed “Design Build Studio and its Role in Architectural Education ” at 14:30 at the A01 Alpay Özdural Conference Hall. The seminar, given by MEF University, Faculty of Arts, Design and Architecture Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Arda İnceoğlu, received great attention from faculty members and students.
During the seminar, Prof. Dr. İnceoğlu conveyed information about the construction process of playgrounds, multi-functional areas, bridges, yoga areas and boathouses. Prof. Dr. İnceoğlu acted as the coordinator of these projects which were executed with the co-operation of several universities. Prof. Dr. İnceoğlu noted the importance of a sharing environment in co-operative group works. During the “Design and Build” themed seminar, as they included the participation of groups of university students in vast numbers, both the entertaining and educative aspects of design and construction processes were emphasised.
Following the seminar, Department of Architecture Chair Prof. Dr. Resmiye Alper Atun presented Prof. Dr. Arda İnceoğlu with a platelet and a certificate of gratitude.
