4th International Conference on Communication, Media, Technology and Design took place in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, with the participation of a considerable number of speakers who presented information on different research findings.
120 Participants from 32 Countries
ICCMTD coordinator and EMU Communication and Media Studies Faculty Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Agah Gümüş stated that 120 participants from 32 countries attended the conference where 32 presentations were delivered. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gümüş added that EMU Communication and Media Studies Faculty’s acting Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ümit İnatçı’s presentation entitled “Communication and Arts” received interest from participants.
The three-day conference hosted Vicki Meyer from the USA, Nico Carpentier from Belgium and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ümit İnatçı from Northern Cyprus as keynote speakers.
EMU Promoted
During the opening session of the ICCMTD, detailed information on the participants from Eastern Mediterranean University was provided.
EMU Communication and Media Studies Faculty’s acting Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ümit İnatçı highlighted the importance of conferences as such, since they increase the visibility of academics and universities at the international level.
