Cultural Trip Organized For EMU Fleps Students

A cultural trip is held every semester within the scope of the “FLDE 118 – Introduction to Multicultural Education” course taught was part of the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Foreign Languages and English Preparatory School (FLEPS), Foreign Languages Unit curriculum. This semester’s trip was a visit to Çınarlı, İskele and Karpaz regions.

Total of 50 students attended the trip that took place with the leadership of the organizer of the course which aims for students to get to know the rich culture of Cyprus and see its diverse beauties. Students visited İncirli Cave, İskele Culture Center and Apostolos Andreas Monastery and had the chance to obtain information of the history of these places. Students, who did not neglect to take lots of photos while observing the natural values ​​during the trip, noted that the beauty of the world lies in the diversity of people and everyone smiles in the same language.
