Another International Achievement from EMU Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design Student Kenan Münür Türktan

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Communication Faculty, Department of Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design post-graduate student Kenan Münür Türktan achieved to be among the 44 finalists of Wonders 2020 International Poster Competition which has 1,815 applicants from 32 different countries. Türktan applied the competition with his project designed within the scope of “Studio I” postgraduate course taught by EMU Communication Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Senih Çavuşoğlu. The organizer of the competition, Canada-based Borderless Graphic Designers Group, decided to add Türktan’s project into their online gallery for exhibition.

Three main subjects of the competition were: “The Impact of Corona Pandemic at Christmas 2020”, “Wonders 2020” and “The Future of Our Lifestyles”. The jury members of the international competition consisted of Alexander Faldin (Russia), Markus Weisbeck (Germany), Elizabeth Resnick (USA), Kye Soo Myung (South Korea), Olga Severina (USA), Rujiyanto (Indonesia), Chepe Jose Luis (Mexico), Anna Klos (Poland), Eric Boelts (USA) and Chang Fang Pang (Taiwan).

Being previously mentioned with his participations in significant international design competitions, EMU Communication Faculty, Department of Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design post-graduate student Kenan Münür Türktan included a new success story to his list of achievements.
