Alhaji Suleiman Yau, Attaché of Nigerian Embassy in Ankara, Visits EMU

Nigeria's Ankara Embassy Immigration Office Attaché Alhaji Suleiman Yau, who came to the country for the "Passport Renewal / Retrieval" procedures organized by the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Social and Cultural Activities Directorate with the support of the EMU Nigeria Student Union, paid a visit to EMU Rector's Office. Nigerian students showed great interest in the "Passport Renewal / Retrieval" procedures that took place at the EMU Social and Cultural Activities Directorate on 26 and 27 April 2021.

Visit to EMU Rector's Office

After the procedures, Nigeria's Ankara Embassy Immigration Office Attaché Alhaji Suleiman Yau visited EMU Vice Rector for Social and Cultural Affairs Assoc. Prof. Dr. Deniz İşçioğlu in her office. During the visit, Vice Rector for Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Aktuğlu and International Student Activities and Student Associations Supervisor Ahmed Kasım were also present. During the visit, it was discussed how such activities organized for Nigerian students studying at EMU could be further developed. Attache Yau stated that he would arrange with the Embassy of Nigeria in Ankara to organize this event every three months and to finalise the applications submitted to their embassy faster.

EMU Vice Rector for Social and Cultural Affairs Assoc. Prof. Dr. Deniz İşçioğlu stated that they will always be happy to host Alhaji Suleiman Yau, Attaché of the Immigration Bureau of the Embassy of Nigeria in Ankara, at EMU and that they will continue to organize such events that will benefit Nigerian students. Assoc. Prof. Dr. İşçioğlu also presented a gift to Yau at the end of the visit.
