Convergence and Transmedia (YMGA455)
In addition to convergence and Transmedia gamification became the third core element for the use of different media platforms for commercial and political uses to grab the attention of the media users. Developing technology led to the convergence of different media instruments. On one instrument, such as mobile phone or i-pad, one has access to various media such as TV, radio and the Internet. This course seeks to explore the way from the traditional media to the recent developing converging media and their influence in this communication process. The basic aim of this course is to concentrate on Transmedia is related to the content of shared messages among different media. This course seeks to analyze the ways in which various media share information related to each other.
