World Civilization (AHSS101)
This course will explore the birth and diffusion of world civilizations from prehistory to about 1500 C.E. Attention will given the major social, economic, and political trends within each civilization. It follows a chronological and geographical order while emphasizing certain themes like social and economic systems, government and politics, religious and philosophical beliefs, the environment and human interaction, science and technology.
