European Union Law - II (HKUK350)
One of the main purposes of European Union is to establish an Internal Market among the member states where factors of production i.e goods, services, persons and capital move freely. In this course, the main principles of European Union Law and the jurisprudence of European Court of Justice regarding the free movement will be thought. Also Area of Freedom, Security and Justice, which is essential for dealing with the legal and criminal issues arising out of free movement, will be explained. Therefore, students will also acquire the knowledge regarding the rules of European Union Law put into force, for establishing co-operation among the member states on criminal and legal matters.
