Our goal is to train experts who can effectively use artificial intelligence systems in the field of information technologies. Our mission is to educate qualified technicians capable of operating, maintaining, and repairing AI technologies across various sectors.
General Information
The Artificial Intelligence Operator Associate Degree Program is a two-year education program aimed at training qualified individuals proficient in AI technologies, equipped with data-driven thinking skills and high problem-solving abilities.
In the first year, students develop their computational thinking and technical foundation through courses such as basic English, mathematics, algorithm design, and programming fundamentals, while gaining professional awareness with entrepreneurship and occupational health and safety courses. Introductory AI courses provide students the opportunity to comprehensively explore the field.
In the second year, students apply their theoretical knowledge with advanced courses such as machine learning, deep learning, artificial neural networks, data mining, and AI content creation tools. Supportive courses in probability, statistics, data science, analysis, and reporting enhance their analytical thinking and decision-making skills.
The internship and project-based approach in the program allows students to apply their knowledge in real-world settings. This practical methodology supports graduates not only in finding jobs but also in developing an entrepreneurial mindset to establish their own businesses.
Education
The Artificial Intelligence Operator Associate Degree Program is approved by the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Turkey (YÖK) and the Higher Education Planning, Supervision, Accreditation and Coordination Council of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (YÖDAK). The program’s educational activities are conducted in accordance with national higher education standards. It is structured to comply with both countries’ standards and aims to train qualified graduates recognized nationally and internationally.
Facilities
The Artificial Intelligence Operator Program has a strong physical infrastructure offering practical training opportunities. Besides classrooms, the institution provides a wide digital working environment equipped with approximately 200 computers in 13 computer laboratories. These labs support individual and group work with internet access and up-to-date software. Additional supportive facilities include a library, guidance and counseling units, cafeteria, social activity areas, and health services. Each student receives an institutional email address upon enrollment and has access to 24/7 internet connectivity zones.

This situation creates technical requirements for integrating, adapting, and operating AI-based software in nearly every business field. AI operator training aims to fill the gap in technician-level expertise that does not require engineering design but needs technical proficiency. The program focuses on training information technology technicians capable of applying AI technologies and software in various business areas and managing operation, maintenance, and repair processes.
Learning Outcomes
Graduates will be able to:
- Serve as IT technicians integrating AI technologies into business processes across various sectors.
- Work as technical staff in small to medium-sized enterprises offering AI-based software and web services, financial sectors, data platforms with recommendation systems, and public automation systems.
- Meet the growing need for technicians specialized in the emerging subfield of AI technologies within general IT technician roles.
- Act as AI System Analysts by preparing preliminary work for AI development projects, contributing to system modeling, testing and documenting system compatibility, improving and updating systems, and pursuing professional development.
Support AI Programming by researching data organization methods, contributing to preprocessing of datasets, handling data imbalances and outliers, selecting and adapting models, preventing overfitting, and performing error analysis.
