In this course, the concept of production and operations management, historical development, objectives and functions, production systems and types, investment planning of health facilities, selection of facility location and feasibility evaluation, capacity types and planning in health institutions, efficiency types, efficiency analysis parameters and total quality management philosophy, how to plan production / service delivery processes in a perspective that is specific to service management and using practical applications such as Lean Hospital when planning business processes are instructed.
