In this course, general information about health care financing systems, health insurance and payment systems, the historical development of insurance, its scope, the use of being insured on health services and its effects on health, types of health insurance, private insurance and social insurance, the effects of health insurance systems on health care , the use of cost sharing on compulsory and private insurance in health services and its impact on health, health insurance in the world and in our country, problems in insurance sector, reform efforts, cost reduction methods and their effects on service cost, usage and their effects on health, recent developments in health insurance and payment systems are examined.
