Fundamentals of Computer Vision (AING425)
Fundamentals of Computer Vision is an introductory course that discusses computer vision topics in undergraduate level. Computer vision is a popular field that helps us to analyze and understand visual input which is used in many applications. The course explains low-level image perception topics such as image formation, cameras, and color. The mid-level vision topics are then discussed such as interest point detection, local image features and texture. High-level vision topics will be introduced at the third stage of the course such as structure from motion, tracking, object recognition, shape and scene analysis. It will be a benefit for the students to study basic computer vision applications and prepare a project within the scope of computer vision.
