Students of Eastern Mediterranean University Tourism Faculty and Tourism Club attended 12th Tepebaşı Medoş Tulip Festival.
At the festival, students both discovered the Cypriot culture and Medoş Tulip, also known as Tulipa Cypria. During the festival which took place at the beautiful village of Tepebaşı, EMU Tourism Club Chair Çağatay Kaan Eren and students of Faculty of Tourism participated in guided walking tours to the area where Medoş tulips grow. Students also visited various stands at the festival area where different local delicacies and beverages were offered.
EMU Tourism Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç stated that their faculty gives special importance to educational activities outside classrooms and acts towards fulfilling the target of contributing to the development of students’ cultural knowledge by introducing the Cypriot culture, nature and beauties to them.
