Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) is getting ready to participate in TEKNOFEST 2026, the world’s largest aviation, space, and technology festival, organized under the leadership of the Türkiye Technology Team Foundation (T3) and the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Industry and Technology. Once again, EMU will take part in the event as an institutional partner. Applications has begun for the TEKNOFEST 2026 event which is set to take place between 30 September and 4 October 2026 at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport. The last day for application has been announced as 20 February 2026.
To be held in 52 main categories and 127 sub-categories, TEKNOFEST 2026 Technology Competitions will serve as a platform where young tech enthusiast may carry out their innovate projects in various fields, such as aviation, space, artificial intelligence, defense industry, agricultural technologies and sustainability. Bringing together tech-lovers, TEKNOFEST 2026 will also feature exhibitions, shows and various events.

Making remarks on the topic, EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç noted that EMU always supports the work of its students in science, technology and innovation. Prof. Dr. Kılıç stated that TEKNOFEST offers a highly valuable platform for young people to transform their original ideas into concrete projects, and expressed his confidence that EMU students will represent the university in the best possible way in the competitions.
