Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Faculty of Engineering, Department of Industrial Engineering graduate Abubakar Mohammad Saleh successfully continues his career journey as a Program Manager at the Silicon Valley Center of Google, one of the leading technology companies in the world.

Saleh praised the contributions of his academic and social experiences at EMU to his professional life, highlighting that the university, with its academic excellence as well as its social and cultural activities, played a key role in preparing him for the future.
In his remarks, Saleh said; “The transition from the academic world to the professional sphere can be daunting, but at EMU, the combination of rigorous academics and a wealth of extracurricular opportunities fostered an environment that gave me a distinct advantage as I entered the professional world. This unique blend has equipped me with a multitude of transferable skills that remain incredibly relevant and beneficial to me today in my role at Google. While at EMU, I was already developing critical abilities such as tackling complex challenges head-on, leading teams composed of diverse individuals, and navigating the intricacies of a corporate environment, all skills that continue to serve me well in my current position”.
