Avrasya University Rector Prof. Dr. Aşkın Asan and Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Yavuz Özoran paid a visit to Eastern Mediterranean University Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam.
During the visit, Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam provided detailed information about Eastern Mediterranean University and added that with a history of 36 years, EMU is the most prominent institution of higher education in the TRNC. Prof. Dr. Osam also provided information about the student and faculty profile in EMU and stressed the international qualities of the university.
Putting forth that Eastern Mediterranean University has become a point of attraction for different cultures and nationalities, Prof. Dr. Osam added that students benefit from high quality study opportunities in a peaceful environment. Prof. Dr. Osam also provided detailed information about EMU’s International Summer School as well as campus and infrastructural facilities of the university.
Expressing his fascination with EMU’s campus, academic qualities and facilities, Prof. Dr. Aşkın Asan stated that he and his team have been recently appointed and that they will spend their best efforts in bringing Avrasya University to further points of quality.
At the end of the visit at which Vice Rector for Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Hıfsiye Pulhan and Vice Rector for Administrative Affairs Prof. Dr. Bekir Özer were also present, Prof. Dr. Osam presented the guests Lefkara lace frames to mark their visit to Eastern Mediterranean University.
