EMU's Turkish Medium Postgraduate Programs for Working Students

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Faculty of Business and Economics Graduate Programs that have been offered in Nicosia since the Spring Term of the 2012-2013 Academic Year will once again be offered in Nicosia during the 2020-2021 Academic Year Fall Semester. The programs to be offered are; Business Management Master’s Program with or without Thesis (Turkish medium), Banking and Finance Master’s Program without thesis (Turkish medium), Managerial Economics Master’s Program without thesis (Turkish medium), Financial Economics Master’s Program without thesis (Turkish medium) and, Gender Studies Master’s Program with or without thesis (Turkish medium).

Courses after Working Hours

In addition to the aforementioned programs, the statement from EMU Business and Economics Faculty Dean’s Office indicated that the Banking and Finance Department offers the opportunity to receive an Investment Assessment and Project Finance Certificate within the framework of the collaboration agreement with Queens University in Canada. The programs aiming to train experts in various fields in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) create an alternative for those who are involved in business life and also want to receive postgraduate education. Moreover, administering the classes after the working hours provide great advantage for the ones who work during the working hours. TRNC civil servants will be eligible to receive a 20% discount and, employees of private corporations will also be eligible for a 30% discount if the corporation they work for has signed a cooperation protocol with EMU. A 15% discount will be offered to EMU graduates who are to be registered in a postgraduate program in EMU for the first time.

Discount for Civil Servants

According to the statement made, all the TRNC civil servants who will be enrolled in the mentioned postgraduate programs for the 2020 – 2021 Academic Year Fall Semester will be eligible to receive a 20% discount. EMU also stated that they are taken all the requests into consideration and, in addition to the civil servants, employees of private corporations will also receive a 30% discount if the corporation they work for has signed or to sign a cooperation protocol with EMU.
