EMU Nigerian Students Society Organises a Seminar

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) International Student Activity and Student Societies Unit organized a seminar for all Nigerian students studying at EMU as part of the Nigerian Student Society Orientation program. In the seminar held in Mustafa Afşin Ersoy Hall, the students received information about the rules, regulations, health-related issues and many other procedures that must be followed in the University and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

At the event, organized to facilitate the adaptation process of students to the university and the TRNC, and to help them discover the structure and possibilities of the university, lawyers, experts from the Immigration, Traffic and Narcotics units of the Police General Directorate met with the students and provided information on the aforesaid topics. On the other hand, specialists from the Rector's Office, Security Affairs Department, Health Center and EMU Psychological Counseling, Guidance and Research Center also attended the seminar and provided information to the students on what to do in case of problems they encounter. EMU Vice Rector for Social and Cultural Affairs Prof. Dr. Deniz İşçioğlu also attended the said event which ended after the questions from the students were responded to.
