Boğaziçi University’s Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Tekcan came to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) within the scope of Career Week organised by the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Alumni Communication and Career Research Center (MİKA) as a result of their collaboration with the EMU Faculty of Arts and Sciences. Prof. Dr. Tekcan came together with EMU students at the ASA Amphitheatre on Thursday, the 25th of April 2019 at 15:30.
Prof. Dr. Tekcan’s presentation titled “Reminiscence Bump: The Impact of Youth in Remembering Our Past” was attended by EMU Arts and Sciences Faculty academicians and students. After the presentation Prof. Dr. Tekcan summarized his career so far and provided advice for EMU Arts and Sciences Faculty students.

Boğaziçi University Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Tekcan visited EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam in his office with EMU Arts and Sciences Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Özarslan, Department of Psychology Vice-Chair Dr. Deniz Atalar and Academic Staff Member Asst. Prof. Dr. Burcu Kaya Kızılöz. The visit of courtesy took place on Friday, the 26th of April 2019 at 11:00. During the visit EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Osam provided Prof. Dr. Tekcan with information about the university. Prof. Dr. Osam also presented Prof. Dr. Tekcan with a traditional Cypriot Lefkara laced board as a token of gratitude for accepting their invitation to come to the university.
