Mustafa Afşin Ersoy Hall (CLA21)
Documentaries translated into Turkish by final year students of the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Translation and Interpretation will be screened at the Mustafa Afşin Ersoy Hall on 22 May 2018.
Ahu Karaca, Merve Gürbüz, Pınar Bayram, Şöhret Sertbay and Dila Şimşek translated the documentaries which question the different aspects of the last point where mankind does not give up, the fighting nature of him, his inner-self and where he reached at.
The event, which will include short presentations on the subtitle translation process of different types of documentaries, will meet the audience between 22 and24 May as one of the most concrete examples of the practical training of EMU’s the Department of Translation and Interpretation, which aims to meet the expectations of the translation industry.
