Corporate Banking Law (BANK406)

This course aims to examine the roots of banking crises and discuss systemic bank restructuring from micro and macroeconomic perspectives. It discusses monetary policy instruments, and bank regulation/ supervision that are necessary to avoid banking crises. Systemic bank restructuring is examined with a number of country case studies from Latin America and Asia. Finally, lessons and elements of best practice are discussed and presented.
