Microeconomics for Business (ECON203)

This course applies microeconomic principles and tools to the management of firms, including both small pricetaker firms as well as large dominant firms with market power. The aim of the course is to develop students' understanding of the economic, financial and political environment in which firms operate, and help them to think strategically about firm{o-firm, firm-to-consumer, and firm-to-government interactions. Topics covered include the development and business applications of Consumer Theory, Production Theory, Cost of Production and Market Structures.
