Psychology

• Psychology is the scientific study of mental processes and behavior. Psychologists strive to understand the roots of behavior from biological and cognitive perspectives to intergroup and interpersonal processes.
• The goal of the undergraduate program is to provide students with in-depth knowledge in Psychology which will help them continue in graduate work in fields such as education, health, social, industrial, clinical and forensic psychology to name a few.
• It further aims to train students in:
  • Skills that assess the link between theory and application
  • Examining research results from different subfields of Psychology
  • Exploring the historical development of Psychology theories along with their philosophical roots
