Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Rector’s Office announced that five Graduate programmes linked to the Faculty of Education will be offered in Nicosia as well starting from 2013-2014 Spring Semester (February 2014).
It was stated that some programmes will also be offered in Nicosia in addition to EMU Famagusta Campus for people who work but also want to pursue a graduate degree.
The programmes that will be offered in Nicosia are: English Language Teaching Master’s Degree; Early Childhood Education Master’s Degree; Psychological Counselling and Guidance Master’s Degree; Curriculum and Instruction Master’s Degree and ICT in Education (English). Early Childhood Education Master’s Degree; Psychological Counselling and Guidance Master’s Degree; and Curriculum and Instruction Master’s Degree programmes from the list above will be offered in Turkish.
EMU, who is aware of the fact that one of the most important duties of universities is to spread scientific information, announced that they have made this decision to inform teachers about developments in educational sciences; contribute to the adaptation of those who are currently serving or would like to serve in education field. Programmes will be for those who are working in either public or private sector and will be offered outside working hours.
