EMU Admitting Students to New Programs

Eastern Mediterranean University is finalising the preparations for the launch of new programs for the 2014-2015 Academic Year. During the upcoming academic year, “Psychological Counseling and Guidance” undergraduate program (30% English) will be offered by Education Faculty,   “Operating Theatre Services”, “Perfusion Techniques”, “Radiotherapy” and “Optician” associate programs will be launched by School of Health Sciences and “Gastronomy and Culinary Arts” undergraduate program will be offered by School of Tourism and Hospitality Management in Turkish.

Admissions to the aforementioned programs will be through EMU Entrance and Scholarship Exam-2014 for TRNC citizens on 5 June 2014.

EXAM FREE ADMISSION TO ASSOCIATE PROGRAMS
For the 2014-2015 Academic Year, Eastern Mediterranean University is giving admissions for vocational school graduates to associate degree programswithout an entrance exam. Candidates wishing to apply for the relevant departments without an entrance examination are required to fill in the related section in the EMU Entrance and Scholarship Examination 2014 Form and pay 10 TL.

APPLICATIONS FOR EMU ENTRANCE EXAM ARE CONTINUING:
The application process for Eastern Mediterranean Univeristy Entrance and Scholarship Exam for Turkish Cypriot citizens which will be held between 10:00 and 12:30 on Thursday, 5 June 2014 has commenced on 2 May 2014. As announced by EMU Rector’s Office, EMU Entrance and Scholarship Examination will be held at EMU Campus in Famagusta and Turkish Maarif College in Nicosia. Applications may be submitted to EMU Registrar’s Office in Famagusta and EMU Exam Application Center in Atatürk Teacher Academy in Nicosia between 20 May and 4 June 2014.

Similar to last year, the exam admission fee is 25 TL and can be deposited to EMU’s bank account (100640) at any branch of Cooperative Central Bank or may be paid during application at the EMU Exam Application Center in Atatürk Teacher Academy in Nicosia

During the exam application, students are required to submit a photocopy of the TRNC ID card, a bank statement, and 2 passport sized photos. On the exam date, students are advised to be present at the exam venue with their ID cards and exam entrance document latest by 9:30 a.m
