EMU 2025-2026 Academic Year Fall Semester Graduation Ceremony to be Held on 30 January

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) 2025 – 2026 Academic Year Fall Semester Postgraduate, Undergraduate and Associate Degree Graduation Ceremony will be held on Friday, 30 January 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Lala Mustafa Paşa Sports Complex. Continuing its steady growth in graduate numbers each year, EMU will award degrees to 163 master’s and doctoral graduates and more than 700 associate and undergraduate students during the Fall Semester of the 2025 – 2026 Academic Year, bringing the university’s total number of graduates to over 78,000.

 

The ceremony will begin with a Minute of Silence and the National Anthem, followed by speeches from graduates in both Turkish and English and a musical performance. It will then continue with protocol addresses, after which top ranking students of faculties and departments will receive their diplomas and awards from protocol members. The program will proceed with the presentation of diplomas to postgraduate graduates, along with awards presented to doctoral thesis supervisors.

 

The 2025 – 2026 Academic Year Fall Semester Graduation Ceremony will conclude with the presentation of diplomas to associate and undergraduate program graduates, and the traditional cap-throwing session.

 

Graduation Rehearsal on 28 January

In order for the graduation ceremonies to go smoothly, on Wednesday, 28 January 2026, Postgraduate, Undergraduate and Associate Degree Graduation Ceremony rehearsal will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Lala Mustafa Paşa Sports Complex.  Furthermore, the 2025 – 2026 Academic Year Fall Semester Graduation Ceremony will be broadcasted live on BRT 3 Channel, on EMU TV and on EMU’s official social media accounts (Youtube - https://www.youtube.com/user/eastmeduniv and Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/eastern.med.univ/.

In his remarks regarding the 2025 – 2026 Academic Year Fall Semester Graduation Ceremony, EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç noted that they take great pride in each and every one of the university’s graduates, and said; “As EMU, we take pride in the steady growth of our graduate numbers and in preparing our students to step into the future as well-equipped and confident individuals. Every graduate of our postgraduate, undergraduate, and associate degree programs will carry not only their personal achievements, but also EMU’s academic strength, scientific legacy, and universal values to all corners of the world. I warmly congratulate our graduates and wish them a life filled with health, happiness, and success”.
