Ethics in Design (VACD106)

Focuses on what works are protected, legalities, integrity and morality in visual communication. This course adresses both practical consideration and legal and ethical policy concerns in the field. Subjects such as copyright, appropriation, contest, cronyism, fair use, greenwashing, photo manipulation, plagiarism, professionalism, spec work can be seen through case studies and students will be evaluated based on class participation, assigned oral presenations and written (research) essays.
