Neurogenetics (BIOL317)
In this course genetic bases of neurogenetic disorders are investigated. Emphasis is given on molecular understanding of neurological diseases. Genetic and molecular methodologies used in studying these conditions are covered. Current technologies used in identifying genetic variant for diseases, such as genome-wide association studies and exome sequencing are covered.
